Chris Guzikowski is an Executive Editor for the Addison-Wesley and Prentice Hall imprints at Pearson in Boston, MA. In this capacity, he is responsible for the editorial acquisition and product development of projects related to agile methods, design patterns, and programmer productivity. He joined Pearson’s marketing team as Publicist for Addison-Wesley in 1995. After ten years in various product marketing and marketing management positions, he joined the editorial team in 2005. Before working at Pearson, he was a Senior Research Analyst at Press Access, Inc., where he helped a start-up company build databases and directories that served the needs of the high-tech public relations community. Prior to that, he held marketing and sales positions at Cahners Publishing (part of Reed Elsevier) and Ziff-Davis Publishing. He graduated from the school of Arts and Sciences at Boston College with a degree in Speech Communications. He currently resides in suburban Boston with his wife and three daughters.
