August 2005-May 2011
As team member, team lead, and software architect I led the transition to agile software methodologies. I worked with managers, stakeholders, and executives to design processes and transition strategies to adopt Scrum across all members of the development and testing teams (max 50 members). I directly trained most members of the development staff in Scrum/agile principles and practices. The success of this adoption was a key role in all my promotions while at Speakeasy.
Major items introduced include:
Continuous Integration
Test Driven Development
Iterations
Retrospectives
Relative Estimation
Whole-team approach (Testers as integrated team members)
