Eric Sybesma

I was born at a very early age.  

Some reasonable time passed, and I obtained a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (Communications Systems) from the University of Michigan.   For the subsequent several decades, I have worked as a lead and principal software engineer and consultant, both in the areas of communications network software and object-oriented application programming, with special interests in Agile methodology, test-oriented development, design patterns and enterprise applications in Java and .Net.    Additionally, I am enrolled in the MBA program at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and will complete requirements for the corporate finance emphasis in 2013 and an IT management emphasis in 2014.

My first Agile team experience was in 2005, and I have been leading Agile Scrum teams since 2011.  I believe that Agile methodology is an outstanding mechanism that enables a software team to adapt quickly to evolving customer requirements and to provide incremental improvement and the best return on development investment, both in the short and long term.
