Tammie Holmes combines her legal background, technical expertise and business education to creatively assist the Federal Judiciary in enhancing the use of technology through successful project delivery. She works within the Information Technology department leading technology solutions for judges, court unit executives, and all staff including the Probation and Pretrial Services Office. She has led the development of six websites for the District and served as a project manager for many technology-based projects. Tammie has also been an integral part of the District’s Continuity of Operations planning team assisting in the development of plans, tests, training, and exercises. She has served the Heartland's Regional COOP Working Group assisting FEMA in Federal emergency preparedness. She has shared her expertise in emergency planning, project management and technical applications by facilitating training and serving as a mentor for several districts nation-wide.

Tammie provided stategic planning and leadership in the development of an online community for technology professionals within the Federal Judiciary; the community has flourished hosting over 1,000 members. The Community received the 2008 Edward L. Nelson Local Initiatives Grant to enhance the opportunities this project brings to the Judiciary. Tammie has worked with several departments among the Administrative Officeand the Federal Judicial Center to deliver training programs, evaluate software, and pilot test new programs.

Tammie's professional certifications include PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) and the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) designation.  Tammie earned her Master’s of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management which focused an emphasis on Project Management. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She has served as a Guardian ad litem within the Jackson County Family Court system representing children’s interests. She is the past-president of her local Toastmaster's Club where she has earned the distinguished Toastmaster Bronze designation.  Tammie was a 2010 nominee for The Director's Award in Leadership within the Federal Judiciary.
