Solutions Design Lead at Tribal Group
A few of us started up Trackit Systems to produce tracking systems, using bar-codes and radio tags, for pretty much anyone who needed to keep track of anything. We produced systems to track paperwork around courts, hospitals, share dealers and offices; we tracked compressed gas bottles (and ventured into production planning to fill them); we tracked production line work in the automotive industry, milk, cream and butter production and shampoo & bath foam production; we tracked waste, we tracked cash as it was put into slot machines, then collected, counted and banked. We tracked stuff. We then joined Tribal Group; we tracked some more stuff (and we still do) but got more involved in larger scale web systems and that's what we do now - more public sector but still with valued private sector clients, mostly web based but with some valued desktop applications too. Mostly fixed-place with with significant mobile systems and facilities.
