Jürgen Staader - I am applying Scrum in my daily work since the beginning of 2006. I am a certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner and worked in both roles. I joined SAP in 2000 where I was at first mainly engaged in the design and development of various test tools for C, C++, then for ABAP and later for Java. Here I consider ABAP Unit as an important contribution which makes an agile programming approach with test-driven development possible also in the SAP world. I see this as so important because I am convinced that the agile engineering practices are a vital backing of Scrum when applied to software development.
In addition to my regular project responsibilities at SAP I have been working as an agile mentor within SAP and since 2009 I am engaged in transition projects for introducing lean and agile development practices at SAP.
