Shivani Arora, is a Technical Manager in the CDMA team, at Alcatel Lucent India, Bangalore where she has worked since 2005. She is Distinguished member of Technical Staff. In her current job she leads the middleware team to provide features needed for development of wireless products. She has provided technical guidance for development teams of EVDO RNC, worked as a System Engineer for 3G1x RNC and as Solution Architect for the OAM network of CDMA OAM RAN. Before this she has worked in CDOT, the technology development wing of Government of India, on ISDN, V5.2 and GSM products. She is a senior member of IEEE and has published a paper in Bell Labs Technical Journal. she holds a patent. Her areas of interest are Software engineering and Software Architectures and Designs. She has an experience of 21 years in the development of  wireline and wireless Access Network products. She did her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, Roorkee and M. Tech in Computer Technology from IIT N.Delhi
