"AgileBill" Krebs has worked as a developer, performance engineer, and consultant at five IBM Labs for over 2 decades. He’s used and taught Agile software development methods such as Scrum and Lean since 2001 to over 2,000 engineers and managers worldwide. He’s presented at agile conferences, IBM Research, and served as the co chair for the IBM Academy of Technology conference on Agile.

But that was the old world.

Bill now specializes in distributed teams. He has participated in distributed conferences for educators for four years with over 1,200 people each year. He uses interactive 3d tools to teach better.  He is on the Board of Directors of Rockcliffe University Consortium.  He trains coaches on tools for distributed teams and hosts a conference on distributed teams.

His certifications include CSM, CSP, MBTI, IGTF, and Innovation Games (R) Qualified Instructor.  He completed his certification in virtual worlds from the one year program at the University of Washington.

Bill is the founder of the Distributed Agile Congress user group, and a member of Agile RTP, ALN, PMI, ACM, the Scrum Alliance, and Agile Alliance.  He blogs forf PMI Voices.

He is currently a Distributed Agile Coach at Allscripts where he pairs with another coach to Agileize 2,600 people.  He also hosts events to benefit people with disabilities with VirtualAbility.org.
