Kim MacCormack

Ms. MacCormack is a co-founder of CodeSherpas Inc., a software consultancy that brings her software engineering experience to commercial and government clients. In this role, she's committed to developing and managing high quality web applications, helping her clients get their products to market faster.

Ms. MacCormack has more than eleven years of software and systems engineering experience. Ms. MacCormack received her Masters degree in Software Engineering in 2005. Ms. MacCormack is a Certified ScrumMaster. In addition, she is a member of the Northern Virginia Java Users Group and Ruby Users Group.

Ms. MacCormack has experience with every aspect of the software engineering lifecycle including: requirements analysis, design, human/computer interface (HCI) design, code development, and verification/validation. This year, Ms. MacCormack has developed two international, e-commerce applications, using Ruby on Rails, for commercial clients.

In addition to her activities as an experienced software development professional, Ms MacCormack is also the co-founder of Simply Better Professional Organizers, LLC. In this role, she uses her well-developed analytical and organizational skills to help her clients achieve a variety of personal and professional goals by becoming more efficient and organized. Her specialties include organizing resources, designing ergonomic physical layouts, and analyzing and streamlining existing processes. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
