Ramnik Gill – CSM
I have industry experience of over ten years of which during last 5 years I have been part of teams practicing agile methodologies. I got certified in Scrum Master Summer of 2011, since then I served as a scrum master briefly where I facilitated the various time boxed meetings such as release and sprint planning meeting, and retrospectives using physical artifacts such as a scrum progress board and lots of stickies before taking on my current role beginning of 2012. I am currently working as an Agile Coach for GE Healthcare IT across 110 scrum teams, spanning over 1500 software engineers spread across the globe. I coach the teams on best Scrum practices including estimating and prioritizing backlogs, etc. Additionally, I work with engineers promoting tech practices from XP, such as Test-Driven Development. I have been in this role for almost one year and together with the previous scrum master role, more than 2000 hours this year alone. This year I also had the opportunity to attend the Agile Conference held at Dallas. I want to further my skills as a scrum professional as I feel passionately about the topic.
