Bob MacNeal is a consultant with many years of software development experience. Bob is an "Agile" Asp.Net practitioner, proficient at designing and developing object oriented, test-driven, web-based solutions using Microsoft tools (Asp.Net 2.0/3.5/1.1, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, SQL Server, LINQ, ASP.Net MVC, Commerce Server, ReSharper, NUnit, CruiseControl.Net, and C#). He has multi-industry consulting experience including publishing, financial services, manufacturing, insurance, legal, environmental engineering, and others.

Bob blogs about his in-the-trenches observations about software development & teamwork at Bobtuse Bobservations. He's particularly interested in the sociology of effective teams.

He's currently engaged in an Agile Asp.Net project for Thomson Reuters. He is sub-contracted through Agile guru David Hussman’s company DevJam. This is a greenfield project to build a collaborative portal for law professors called Law School Exchange
. Bob is also consulting on an eCommerce project for Affinety Solutions.

Bob moderates a popular LinkedIn group called Agile .Net Practitioners.

Bob founded the firm Working Company Consultants in 1998. His business partners, Garry Smith and Steve Rowe, are smarter, but Bob has better table manners.
