I am part of Smart Devices Unit and Heading MeeGo Bangalore site R&D Delivery and Quality organization. As a site program manager, my role is to ensure that development entities in MeeGo Bangalore site have DRD-wide consistent delivery approach towards delivery and software quality through best-practice specialist competence. I am also an Agile coach for Bangalore site and stakeholder in agile enterprise definitions like DOD, Release Planning, incremental planning and so on. I have been using Scrum for close to 3 yrs in Symbian and Nokia. I have worked as Scrum master, Product Owner and Coach. Prior to this i have experience in Extreme programming and Pair programming. I am primary responsibility was working as Agile Coach along with Program Manager responsibility. Building, Coaching the teams in moving towards agile way of working and helping them various facets of scrum framework. Program managing one of the Sub areas in an ODM windows phone program (external vendor). As an Engineering Manager i was heading few engineering teams and was responsible for Product Engineering, Delivery, Resource planning, Budgeting, technology transition across sites, team building and Test process improvement. The teams which I was handling were responsible for providing generic Sensor framework (Acceleration, Proximity & Electronic compass), Sensor Plugin’s, OS level service API’s, Symbian SDK Tools ( ROM Build tools, Test Framework, Binary compability tools, Emulator) & Symbian Developer Documentation.
