Zvonimir Durcevic
I am devoted to enhancing the software development experience for customers and for the software development teams equally. This is why I am seeking for knowledge sharing and exchange of experience and ideas, because there is always something new to learn.
As an IT project manager for A1 Telekom Austria AG I am responsible for advising internal customers and successful execution of technical projects. My experience and skills in leading agile software development projects enabled me to take the challenge of introducing agile values and principles in several projects.
I have worked in telecommunication and software vendor industry in Austria, as well as in education in Croatia for the past 13 years. During the last 10 years in Austria, I have been involved in close working relationship with clients from different countries and cultures, which gave me the opportunity to learn how to discover and appreciate their needs and communicate resulting requirements.
I have had an opportunity to work as a head of development in a smaller company providing technical solutions to telecom providers and vendors. Building the development department and using scrum in an agile software development, was very exciting and at the same time rewarding.
Creating products and services of value for our satisfied customers and having motivated and cheerful team members is my vision. My passion lies in finding ways how to achieve my vision, and I truly believe that the crucial ingredient is life-long learning.
