I graduated from the University of Bradford (UK) with a 2:1 (Hons) in Computer Sciecne in 2002. From here I moved to Cambridge (UK) where I worked for Neursacript Ltd (later aquired by Dicom which, even later, became know as Kofax) for 5 years. In the last 18 months we moved to use Scrum; first in the Cambridge team and then in the development teams across the company.
In late 2007 my then girfriend (now wife), who is an Irish national, strongly suggested we move to Ireland. Arriving in late 2007 (just in time for the collapse of the celtic tiger) I found a job working with a Kofax reseller in Dublin. They immediately sent me on a training course at the head office of my former employer to learn how to use the software I used to develop.
After only a few months of that I moved on to Unum where I have been working on various internal application in C# ever since. Unum currently uses a modified waterfall approach to development but moves are being made towards a more Agile scrum approach.
I moved on from Unum in April 2012.
