I've been working on software since graduating from college (CS degree) in 1983. Started my career on real time software for energey management systems on Modcomp minicomputers. Later moved to Intel architecture systems in the same problem domain.
In 1990, went to work for Compaq and have been working on server management software in one form or another since then.
We started using Scrum in August of 2010 (6 months before Scrum training). Luckily we had an experienced and enthusiastic teammate that helped the team through the early part of this transition.
My role in our Scrum process was as Product Owner.
The CSM course we took in March of 2011 was extremely helpful and inspiring. Can't say enough good things about Peter Borsella and Winnow Management. Simply the best (and most transformative) two days of training I have ever experienced.
