Having joined GFI in 2001 as a Software Developer, I proceeded to lead the GFI MailEssentials development team, and eventually also the GFI MailSecurity team, through numerous iterations of the products, whilst graduating in Computing and Information Systems from the London Metropolitan University. In 2007, I took charge of the engineering teams for the Messaging and Content Security products at GFI, namely GFI FAXmaker, GFI MailArchiver, GFI MailEssentials, GFI MailSecurity and GFI WebMonitor. I was appointed to Director of Engineering in 2008. Working at GFI has given me years of hands-on experience in design and development in C++ and C# with particular focus on network communications and security products, especially email hygiene and Exchange related products; expertise in software development processes and methodologies; as well as experience in the project management of a portfolio spanning multiple products and development teams across multiple locations. I have also been involved in technical due diligence exercises related to GFI Software’s M&A activities.
