Stephen Williams (Age 39) – Director of Software Engineering (UK) / UK Operations Director InVision Software Ltd.

Stephen has held the role of Manager of InVision Software Ltd (www.invisionwfm.com) in Northern Ireland since the site was established in May 2001 and has been the driving force for expanding through diversifying the range of services offer to the parent company. He currently is the Operations Director for the Northern Ireland business responsibility for all operational aspects of the business including human resourcing, business development, I.T. and finance

Stephen is a Computing Science Graduate from the University of Ulster at Magee. He began his computing career with Lotus Development in Dublin in 1994 after which he moved to Singularity (www.singularitylive.com) in Derry where he worked for several years on the development of a large-scale data mining project for use in the financial sector.  He progressed to being the sole technical architect in a major project for a document management solutions provider. This involved a complete redesign of their existing product as well as project managing an offshore development team. Other diverse projects on which he has worked include process/workflow tools, e-banking middleware, cryptographic and telecommunication archiving solutions.

Stephen has held a number of roles lecturing in computing and is also an entrepreneur, holding the position of director in a retail company which he launched in 2003 to which he provides financial control, business development and marketing services.
