Managed multiple engineering functions & projects/programs (Tools Dev., SCM & QA) across three global operations. Teams encompassed 15 engineers plus consultants. Interacted with co-located, distributed and offshore Cross-functional teams. Managed ASIC vendor & customer relationships and all aspects of SDLC from gathering stakeholder requirements, Architect, Design, Implement, system Integration to releasing it to customers. Other responsibilities include managing stakeholders, negotiating contracts, resource allocation, project plans, risk management, tracking, influencing change and adoption of new processes. Interfaced closely with external vendors, marketing, sales, support & engineering. Managed all phases of Project/Product Life Cycle, personnel coaching along with full fiscal responsibilities for project and functions. Presented project updates for 3 functions to C-Level and senior executive staff every month.
Implemented & deployed a new CRM/ERP System using Clarify/Oracle RDBMS across the company. Appointed vendors, managed vendor relationship and managed all aspects of the project. Used Oracle’s ‘AIM’ Methodology. Recognized for turning around a previously failed attempt on a similar project under a different leadership.
Liaised closely with ASIC vendors and OEM partners to derive requirements and enhance middleware layer to produce leading edge Design verification tools for the SoC/ASIC design flows. Enabled IKOS to achieve Golden Simulator approval by NEC.
