George Schlitz , CSC, PMP I have been involved with Agile projects since 2000, when I was a developer on an project trying out some ideas from a book about "extreme programming". Since then, I've moved on to different roles in software development - a change manager, project manager, program manager, scrum master, Agile coach, and more. My interests expanded to these areas upon reading about Scrum - which gave me hope that project management was not doomed to serve only as a source of Dilbert material. My experience has been primarily in very large companies steeped in tradition. I excel at the organizational change aspects of Agile introductions. I love the challenge of having to help groups change when there is seemingly no firm ground to stand on...culture challenges, process challenges, death march projects, troubled teams, etc. I currenty focus on coaching in such organizations - (1) helping organizations to determine if they really want to improve and (2) helping them do it if so. Sometimes I stumble upon the opportunity to get my hands dirty with a more hands-on role an excessivley challenged project or program too. I love my work - even the pain - and will share anything and help anyone doing the same. Resources by George
