Jason Cusack I had the luxury of being involved at the beginning of a large-scale, organization wide agile transformation, and had the opportunity to grow and evolve with the process over a 4-year span. While scrum is an area I have developed a passion for, I have been looking to apply similar concepts to budgeting, cash flow management, and Return-On-Investment concepts. While there is a great deal of power in Scrum, there can be disconnects throughout an organization, as it relates to other ancillary, but still important pre-planning, and post-monitoring activities. How can we quantify the true value of agile development practices within an organization? Its a rhetorical question, but certainly one that should gain some traction as scrum, and agile evolve. Other areas of interest include business intelligence, information visualization, and how to merge these concepts fluidly into our scrum practices.
