The Oil and Gas Project involves the enhancement of its utility billing software system and includes the creation of a flexible, stand alone billing system that can be marketed to other utility billing organizations. The Company uses a mainframe. Duties on this project include, but are not limited to:

• Independently design, program and unit test minor/major changes to COBOL/DB2 and/or JCL programs while delivering high quality programming changes to the client
• Execute Development and Test daily schedules on a rotational basis
• Prepare and execute implementation of modified COBOL/DB2 and JCL programs
• Perform DB2 database updates to Development, Test and Production databases
• Provide support to User Acceptance teams for client testing of modified programs
• Communicate and enforce coding standards in COBOL and JCL by providing code reviews
• Provide training and mentor new team members in client toolsets and processes
• Notify the Team Leads, issues and initiatives and submits recommendations for resolution
• Define the configuration needs and activities of the engagement
• Assist the Project Manager in maintenance of configuration items
• Plan, Organize, Lead, and Monitors the configuration activities
