Rune Gederø is a newcomer in this area. He has good knowledge about PMI (PMBOK) and PRINCE2, so becoming a Certificed SCRUMMaster really opened his eyes.

Rune has several years experience with Service Desks, being an analyst, Team Lead and KPI Manager. While working at the Service Desk he joined a course in Project Management Institute, the PMBOK. This is a thorough and heavy methodology, and he could draw similarities to how projects were run with this in mind. 

PRINCE2 opened his eyes for a more practical methodology, not so heavy as PMI. This suited him more.

But SCRUM and the lean and agile way of thinking is far the best and healthiest way of thinking, according to Rune. The best because it emphasises team spirit and responsibility from both parties, and healthy because it is fairly understandable at first glance and emphasises transparency.
