Mariusz Lasek is director of Business Development for Comarch S.A., a large software house headquartered in Krakow, Poland. In his current position, Mariusz is responsible for business development projects across the mobile landscape, with a strong focus on the Symbian OS platform.

 Mariusz has a technical background, and received a Master of Science degree from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He has been with the Comarch group for 7 years, joining the company initially within a technical scope, as part of the Telco business unit. Mariusz also has experience working on projects in the OSS domain for major Comarch Telco customers in the US and Germany. In 2004, he made the transition across to the Professional Services department, where he has been managing QA projects related to local connectivity for the Symbian OS. Over the last 4 years he has held a number of business development positions within the Comarch group.

 In his current role as Business Development director, Mariusz has been developing the Comarch portfolio of services in close cooperation with the largest and most formidable Smartphone vendors, ODMs as well as other industry players.
