I started my professional career 1985 working first at Operator Data Services Business Development tasks at Elisa (was Helsinki Telephone). We introduced this time high speed modems, TDM network services, IP Wide Area networks services and finally also broadband consumer services 1996. This time my main development responsibilities were with System Design and Service roll-out to the market. I was also consulting our customers in Finland and in Germany upon how to take these new technologies into use in order to help them to win on their business.

Starting 1997 I joined Nokia and later as part of merger now work with Nokia Siemens Networks. In this environment I have been working as business line head, sales and marketing director and leader for Product Management. Technologies involved have included mobile device software (mainly Symbian based), Service Delivery Platforms (SOA, Java) and OSS (OSS/J, Java, SOA). I have been e.g. Advisory Vice President in Singapore based mobile operator (Seconded from Nokia) and Director of Nokia Networks Systems Integration Services. Now since 2008 I have been heading OSS Product and Solution management and my agile development experience is based mainly to this period.
