Steve Ash first became involved with sytems development and project management, on a part-time basis, whilst serving as a flying instructor in the Royal Air Force. His last post in the RAF was running the desktop software development flight for the RAF Strike Command where he introduced a managed RAD (Agile) approach using the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM).
On leaving the RAF in 1996, Steve set up OO Training and Consulting to offer services in training, mentoring, consulting and 'getting dirt under the fingernails' for introducing RAD/Agile into organisations and the use of object oriented analysis and design techniques using UML. He is a past director of the DSDM Consortium.
Steve has worked with many organisations, both public and private sector, in many diverse market sectors from local government to global telecommunications for introducing Agile practices, training and mentoring the staff, facilitating workshops and acting as Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master.
