To create a Scrum User Group, please ensure that your group meets the following criteria:

 

·         Someone in your group is a CSM or CSPO, (preferably have someone that is a CSP) as contact person/ lead for the group

·         There is not already another user group in the same city.

·         Submit a statement of intent (tell us why you want to create a group) 

 

Review the list of existing Scrum User Groups on the Scrum Alliance site: http://www.scrumalliance.org/user_groups to see if there is already a group in the area that you are looking to get involved in the community. The Scrum Alliance supports one User Group per city or area. 

If you meet the criteria above, to create your group profile on the Scrum Alliance site, please submit the following information to our Community Liasion

 

  1. Confirm that you have reviewed the list of existing User Groups and that there is not already one in the same area
  2. Statement of intent for forming group
