How to Renew Your Certification and Membership

Here are certification and membership renewal instructions based on your highest level of certification:

CSM: Certified ScrumMaster

There is not currently a continuing education requirement for the CSM certification.

In order to renew your certification and membership, you can use the green "Renew Membership" button on your dashboard. It is $100 for two years.

If you were certified before the CSM Evaluation was implemented in October of 2009, you may take the CSM Evaluation but it is not required. You can use the red "Take CSM Evaluation" button on your dashboard.  

If your only certification is CSM, login and proceed to your dashboard.

CSPO: Certified Scrum Product Owner

There is not currently a continuing education requirement for the CSPO certification. In order to renew your certification and membership, you can use the green "renew membership" button on your dashboard. It is $100 for two years.

If your only certification is CSPO, login and proceed to your dashboard.

Certified Scrum Developer

There is not currently a continuing education requirement for the CSD certification. In order to renew your certification and membership, you can use the green "renew membership" button on your dashboard. It is $100 for two years.

If your only certification is CSD, login and proceed to your dashboard.

Dual Certified ScrumMaster and Scrum Product Owner

In order to renew both certifications and your membership, you can use the green "renew membership" button on your dashboard. It is $100 for two years.

If you have both a CSM and a CSPO certification, login and proceed to your dashboard.

CSP: Certified Scrum Professional

Your certification is good for two years from your original certification date.  Every two years, you must renew.  

In order to renew, you can use the green "renew membership" button on your dashboard. It is $300 for two years.

This fee will also renew your CSM, CSPO, and/or CSD certifications.

NOTE: After the payment has been made, please accept the CSP license agreement also presented on your dashboard in order to complete the process.  

Certified Scrum Coach

The maintenance fee is due yearly. You will be sent an invoice from our accounting department.  If you have not received an invoice please contact accounting@scrumalliance.org. 

Every three years, you must reapply before paying renewal fees.

Certified Scrum Trainer

The maintenance fee is due yearly. Use the link below to pay this annual maintenance fee. It will also renew all other lower level certifications you hold.
