Mission: To find ways to increase the number of CSCs, without diminishing the quality of the program

Objectives

• Doubling CSCs by June 30, 2010
• Have 84 CSCs by December 31, 2010
• Increase awareness of CSC program, services provided by CSCs, benefits of using a CSC
• Maintain quality of CSCs

Recent Progress

• The IC has agreed to increase awareness in the CSC program by creating a white paper on the value of coaching, and advocating the addition of a Coaching section to the Scrum Alliance website. Paper will include topics relevant to the program, including
  • Characteristics of a CSC
  • Criteria for becoming a CSC, value of becoming a CSC
  • Success stories, support statements
• The IC will meet with the CSP IC to discuss the benefits/advantages of allowing CSCs to certify CSPs, and work to develop a formal proposal for this initiative.
