Moving Towards an Agile QA Process

Making the leap to agile software development can be fun if you are a project manager or business analyst, nerve racking if you are a developer and a nightmare if you are a software quality engineer. Moving Towards an Agile QA Process gives project teams an approachable view in accomplishing their own agile processes. The presentation is geared to help QA Engineers win long term arguments for proactive QA departments and deeper involvement in the Software Development Lifecycle. The presentation will also help testers sift through the new and ever changing buzz words of the agile world.

Speaker Bio

As the Quality Assurance Center of Excellence Leader at CTS, Jonathan oversees all contracted Quality Assurance engagements and assists in managing testing efforts for all Software Development engagements. His responsibilities also include acquiring and maintaining partnerships with Quality Assurance vendors, identifying the necessary software testing skill sets CTS QA engineers need in order to remain competitive in the market, and supporting the sales team in a sales engineer role.

Jonathan joined the CTS team almost 5 years ago, bringing a vast amount of Computer Science knowledge with him from Jacksonville Statue University, 3 years help desk support knowledge and 3 years development experience. Jonathan has a deep experience level with Manual, Automated Regression, Performance Testing, Quality Assurance Methodology Consulting, and Quality Assurance Organization Setup and maintains his advanced ISTQB testing certification. Jonathan also possesses experience using Micro Focus, HP, and Microsoft Testing Tools.
