TOPIC - User Story Writing Workshop
The Product Backlog is a key artifact for agile development, specifically in Scrum. The Scrum Guide says the Product Backlog is “an ordered list of everything that might be needed in the product and is the single source of requirements for any changes to be made to the product.” In other words, if it isn’t on the product backlog it isn’t getting done. So how do we build a product backlog? In this session we will quickly review what the product backlog is, what a user story is, and discuss several techniques and information that are helpful for populating an initial product backlog. We will conclude by conducting a story writing workshop to build a product backlog for the AgileIndy website to get some practice.
