The two day Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course is an immersive learning experience involving a highly interactive mix of seminars, group discussions, team activities, games and role-plays.

• Use popular agile requirements and estimation techniques,
• Facilitate Scrum meetings effectively,
• Raise the visibility of project status and impediments, and

About Certification

As of October 1, 2009, every participant on a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course will be asked to take an online test in order to gain certification. They will be notified about this test by the Scrum Alliance. The official guide for preparing for the test is The Scrum Guide. Test results will be delivered to each participant by the Scrum Alliance. 

This Certified ScrumMaster course is the first step in becoming a CSM. Completing and passing the test will be the second and final step. This test is free of charge and must be completed online, up to 90 days after participants have attended the CSM course. 

Upon successful completion of the test, participants will be enrolled as Certified ScrumMasters. This includes a 24 month membership with the Scrum Alliance where additional CSM-only material is available. For Project Management Professionals, this course qualifies as 16 PDUs as approved by the Project Management Institute.

About the Trainer

Rowan Bunning is a Certified Scrum Trainer and a pioneer of Scrum in Australasia. With a background in extreme programming, object oriented development and scrum, Rowan became Australia’s first Certified ScrumMaster and first Certified Scrum Practitioner.
