All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
What is workshop about?
Certified Scrum Master Course is practical taste of agile methodologies and Scrum process. During the course you will learn to understand key agile techniques and procedures. You will gain overview of differences between classical and agile way of project management, how the value is created once agile methodology is deployed and why it is important to go agile. You will get basic sample of working as Scrum Master and member of agile team. You will get armed with skills for roll-out agility into your organization.
At great number of practical exercises and samples you will try to run project in Scrum methodology, to apply key procedures, non-traditional way of project planning and managing project documentation and reporting. You will find out how the agile team is being formed and what symptoms of team dynamism are. You will learn how to react on changes and not afraid of them. In theoretical part we will show you when to use Scrum, what are its advantages and limitations and what are Scrum roles about.
After course you will understand principles of Scrum so you could join actively an agile team. You will become advocate of agile methodologies within organization and key driver of related changes. You will learn to achieve more at your upcoming projects, understand work better and finally you will start your projects to enjoy.
