Certified ScrumMaster
Certified ScrumMaster Training
All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
This reality based, two-day ScrumMaster certification prep course, provides everything you need to get started with, and grow, your agile and Scrum adoption. On completion, you will be eligible to take an exam to be registered as a Certified ScrumMasters (CSM). This includes a two-year membership in the Scrum Alliance (www.scrumalliance.org), where valuable ScrumMaster materials and information are available.
This course will introduce the essential concepts and tools of agile and Scrum, highlighting differences between agile processes and traditional "waterfall" methodologies and provide a roadmap for adopting and growing agile. You will learn how to lead development teams towards agile success by managing product backlogs, planning releases and sprints, tracking and reporting progress, conducting retrospectives, and growing a high performing, collaborative, team.
This course is taught by David Bulkin, who has been developing software since 1984 and applying agile since 2001. David has real-world industry experience at companies ranging from small business to the Fortune 100. He has written several hundred thousand lines code, thousands of test cases, and managed teams of 100+, making it possible to deliver reality based training that you can immediately apply in your job.
Exercises, case studies, and examples are interwoven throughout the course to illustrate the principles being taught in an immersive, engaing manner.
