All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.

 Led by Pete Deemer, author of The Scrum Primer. Pete specializes in working with teams in India doing multi-location Scrum.

	1		Taught by a globally-known agile leader Pete Deemer is the lead author of The Scrum Primer, one of the most widely read introductions to Agile development using Scrum, as well as the new Distributed Scrum Primer. He is a founder of the Scrum Foundation, which is headed by Dr. Jeff Sutherland, the co-creator of Scrum. He has provided Scrum training and coaching to some of the largest companies in the world, including services companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and Mindtree, and product companies like Microsoft, Dell, EMC, Ericsson, CA, Fidelity, GE, JP Morgan, Mercedes Benz, Oracle, SAP, Siemens, Unilever, and Verizon. Pete is an honors graduate of Harvard University, and has spent the last 22 years leading teams building software-based products and services at global companies. Most recently he served as Vice President of Product Development for Yahoo!, where he led Yahoo's global adoption of Scrum, which grew to over 2000 people worldwide during his tenure. He has also spent a number of years as adjunct faculty at University of California Berkeley, where he received the prestigious Club 6 teaching award, and he is currently a visiting lecturer at the National University of Singapore.
