Taught by an enterprise scaling expert and author of the "Scrum Primer"
All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
In the Certified ScrumMaster training, participants will learn the fundamental principles of Scrum and gain hands-on practice with the Scrum tools (release backlog, sprint backlog, the daily Scrum meeting, tracking progress with a burndown chart, and more). This interactive two-day course will teach you:
- How to be an effective ScrumMaster
- Improve teamwork
- Launch products sooner
- Improve engineering practices to deliver high-quality products
The course will run 09:00 to 17:00. Please arrive at 08:30 each day for a continental breakfast. Participants are welcome to consult our list of recommended reading:
Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will be enrolled as a Certified ScrumMaster, which includes a one-year Scrum Alliance membership, where additional ScrumMaster-only material and information is available. You can also receive 14 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for this course.
