All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.

	1		Taught by a globally-known agile leader Pete Deemer is the lead author of The Scrum Primer, one of the most widely read introductions to Agile development using Scrum, as well as the new Distributed Scrum Primer. He is a founder of the Scrum Foundation, which is headed by Dr. Jeff Sutherland, the co-creator of Scrum. He has provided Scrum training and coaching to some of the largest companies in the world, including product companies like Microsoft, Dell, EMC, Ericsson, CA, Fidelity, GE, JP Morgan, Mercedes Benz, Oracle, SAP, Siemens, Unilever, and Verizon and services companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and Mindtree.  Pete is an honors graduate of Harvard University, and has spent the last 22 years leading teams building software-based products and services at global companies. Most recently he served as Vice President of Product Development for Yahoo!, where he led Yahoo's global adoption of Scrum, which grew to over 2000 people worldwide during his tenure. He has also spent a number of years as adjunct faculty at University of California Berkeley, where he received the prestigious Club 6 teaching award, and he is currently a visiting lecturer at the National University of Singapore.

	6		You get a free copy of Mike Cohn's book "Succeeding with Agile" All attendees at our public CSM courses receive a complimentary copy of Mike Cohn's "Succeeding with Agile Development Using Scrum." This book, published in 2010 and priced at AU$50, is widely considered the best all-around guide to Agile and Scrum.
	7		You get two Scrum minibooks by Pete Deemer In addition to the Mike Cohn book, every attendee receives two high-quality, bound Scrum minibooks by Pete Deemer: The Distributed Scrum Primer (an in-depth guide to distributed development using Scrum) and The Manager and Scrum (a guide for managers and executives leading organizations that use Scrum).
	8		You get full online access to class materials + exercises + useful resources... forever! Unlike many classes, we provide full electronic access to the course materials, which you can use to train your colleagues. 	9		You receive 15 PDU's from PMI Our CSM course includes 15 contact hours of training, which can be submitted to PMI for PDU credit if you are a PMP.
