Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner courses focus on Scrum from a product owner's perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO course are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers.

Participants who complete the course successfully will be designated Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). This Certification includes membership in the Scrum Alliance, where additional materials and information is available exclusively to CSPO’s.

About your Trainer:

David Hicks is a highly experienced Agile coach, trainer and speaker and a Director and co-founder of RADTAC, the leading Agile services company. He has been a specialist in Agile and Iterative approaches since 1988 when his MSc Thesis on the subject was published by the British Computer Society. From 1996-2000 he was responsible for the world’s first large-scale enterprise Agile enablement at British Airways, which culminated in the adoption of Agile as the single standard approach for use across BA’s entire 5000-strong IT department. Since then David has provided Agile coaching and training to many of the world’s leading organisations such as BT, Prudential, Wipro, Virgin, Capita, Fidelity Investments and Mastek in countries across the globe including Europe, the US, India, China and Japan. For the last three years David has been responsible for the RADTAC Agile Training and Coaching team at Nokia Symbian System Software. With over 1200 software engineers in some 150 Agile teams in Finland, India, China, the US and the UK, this is the largest implementation of Agile ever attempted on a single software product.

David is experienced in all of the leading Agile approaches including Scrum, XP, Lean Software Development and the Agile / Open Unified Process and has in-depth experience of complementary non-agile approaches including PMI and PRINCE2. His holds many formal Agile qualifications and is one of only two Trainers in the world certified for both Scrum and Agile Project Management:

Registration includes the provision of any relevant training documentation and light refreshments, but does not include accommodation or transport costs. Booking Policy Bookings are confirmed on receipt of full payment in advance of the course. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to an event will not be refunded - instead the delegate will be given the option to transfer to a course on an alternate date. Delegates who cancel their reservation less than 7 days prior to an event will incur a charge of 50% of the course fee; the option to transfer will still be available to such delegates. Transfer Policy RADTAC’s recognition of today’s fast-paced business world means that registered participants are permitted to transfer onto an alternative course once at no extra cost. However, each transfer after that is subject to an additional fee of £100 + VAT, payable within one week of invoice. In the event that RADTAC is unable to deliver a course on the date planned, a full refund of the pre-paid fee will be provided. However, should an event need to be cancelled due to circumstances out of RADTAC's control (adverse weather conditions, acts of terrorism, geographical incidents), a re-scheduling of the course will be initiated, rather than a refund being issued. RADTAC is not responsible for any additional costs or losses the client may incur as a result of unforeseen events.
