Certified Scrum Product Owner
Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner courses focus on Scrum from a product owner's perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO course are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers.
The Product Owner is a new and unique role that can be both challenging and fulfilling. The Scrum Product Owner is responsible for guiding all of the business aspects of a Scrum team's efforts from setting a vision to defining value and priority to deciding on a daily basis what the team should work on to ensure the highest Return on Investment. Therefore, the PO is responsible for providing the team with a steady stream of highest value Agile requirements to build. Scrum puts the responsibility for business success squarely on the Product Owner and also gives them the ability to control what the team works on, but not how the team works.
The Product Owner must be familiar with the various Scrum artifacts such as the Product Backlog and Release plan, but more importantly the Product Owner must understand how to plan continuously in order to deliver the most value possible.
This interactive course will prepare individuals to fill the role of Product Owner. Through intensive in-class exercises, discussions, and lecture, the role of Product Owner will be examined from all directions. Participants will then be prepared to take on the role and to make informed judgments as to how to succeed within their own context.
