    The objective of this 2-day course is to get leaders prepared for leading organizational Agile transformation. Leaders can be managers, ScrumMasters, Agile coaches or anybody who has the passion to drive the change in their organization.

    In day one, we focus on understanding where we are going. Agile transformation is to increase the organizational agility. We shall learn how to design an Agile organization based on Star model. First, we learn what organizational agility is and how it is going to support your organizational strategy. Second, we look at organizational structure - Scrum team based structure and its scaling, as well as roles and responsibilities. Then, we look at how to design processes and lateral capabilities to enable the collaboration across entities in the organizational structure. Lastly, we shall look at rewards and people practices, especially performance evaluation.

    In day two, we focus on leading the change. First, we understand the cultural impact, and explore how well your organizational culture matches Agile and its implication. Then, we introduce Agile adoption and transformation differently. For Agile adoption, we focus on how to introduce new practices by taking pattern approach. For Agile transformation, we learn Kotter change model and share the experience in each step. Next, we learn how to apply systems thinking onto the situations during Agile adoption and transformation. Lastly, as change agent, we shall learn Satir model to understand the human aspect in the change, and learn MOI model to become effective in problem solving.
