Learn what it takes to work as an effective product owner from a leading expert on product ownership. Roman has a long track record in teaching and coaching Scrum product owners. He is the author of three books on Scrum including "Agile Product Management with Scrum" — the guide to creating successful products with Scrum.

Attending this course will enable you to understand the product owner role in depth and learn the practices necessary to succeed as a product owner. This includes the product owner duties, the role's authority, and its interaction with the other Scrum roles and stakeholders such as customers, users, sales, marketing, and management. You will understand how product planning, product discovery and product definition work in Scrum including taking advantage of early customer feedback and emergent requirements. The course also teaches you how to turn a product vision into a successful product by forecasting the project progress, grooming the product backlog, and effectively collaborating with the ScrumMaster and team in the sprint meetings. (Please click on the "Agenda" tab for more details.) This interactive course teaches practical techniques through instructions and hands-on exercises.

Here is some recent attendee feedback:

"Roman's deep knowledge and experience of scrum and agile development is conveyed with great enthusiasm (and patience) on his tightly run product owner training. He's a great coach, with real-life examples for pretty much every scenario and an obvious enthusiasm for his user-led development that is really inspirational." James Murphy, RICS

"I attended a Certified Scrum Product Owner course run by Roman, which I found extremely valuable. He demonstrated a high degree of expertise and his training style was very engaging. Roman is extremely enthusiastic about agile product management, and I would certainly recommend his training to anyone who wants to develop their Scrum product owner skills and create successful products that customers really value."
