    Scrum is a simple, empirically based method with high efficiency, which also has profound implications for your business. A strong product ownership is one of the key elements of successful projects using Scrum. Meanwhile, the Product Owner the most challenging role to play in the organization because it is a versatile role, acting as a bridge between business domain and the team: Product Owner is responsible for the project's Return on Investment (ROI) for guiding the team and representative of both customers and business and development team.

    In this course you can learn all the essentials of working as a Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner (CSPO). The learning about the basic principles will be combined with deep insights into the teacher's own experience with the most challenging parts of the job.

    The course equips the participants with the knowledge about the Scrum principles and practices that are necessary in order to succeed within this new paradigm.

    You can expect to learn how to establish and maintain a product backlog and write agile requirements with clear acceptance criteria. We will also discuss real-world organizational challenges such as collaboration in distributed teams manage large or multiple projects, release planning and metrics.

    The participants gain a basic understanding of values, principles and practices of Scrum, and how to act as a Product Owner in collaboration with customers, teams, ScrumMaster, and the rest of the organization.

    With active participation in the course, you obtain certification as a Product Owner in Scrum Alliance.

     

    Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner courses focus on Scrum from a product owner's perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO course are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers.

  • Who Should Attend

    Project managers, team leaders, members of development teams, project sponsors, managers, business analysts, coaches and product owners. Existing experience with Scrum is an advantage but not a requirement for participation.

    The course participants are encouraged to have a basic knowledge of the Scrum process, from books, journal articles and online content.
