  • Course

    Date: 24-25 March, 2014
    Location: 杭州, China

    Regular Price: RMB 7000

This 2-day course helps you learn the Scrum framework and how to become an effective Product Owner within that framework, from theory to practice.

On day one, we start with the influences that lead to the creation of Scrum such as empirical process control and how Scrum relates to the Agile Manifesto. After we’ve covered the Scrum framework, we’ll start to study the Product Owner role in detail. We’ll learn about value thinking and how to apply it to product development and will then envision a product using design thinking by the end of the day.

On day two, using our vision for the product, we’ll create a good product backlog, well ordered and with each item having useful value and cost estimates and an appropriate level of detail. Using the product backlog, we’ll experience continuous release planning. We’ll learn about quality thinking and the effects of working with a legacy product. We’ll learn how the Product Owner works with the team each sprint and we’ll finish the course by taking the first step towards becoming a great Product Owner.

Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner® courses focus on Scrum from a product owner's perspective. Graduates will receive the CSPO designation. All CSPO course are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers.
