    Date: 25-26 October, 2007
    Location: Krakow, Poland

    Regular Price: EUR 1,200

The training prepares you for the role of Scrum Master - the guardian and facilitator of the Scrum process. Scrum Master is not a boss, is not a drill sergeant - he (or she) is more like a coach helping a team be as productive as it can. To do that the Scrum Master applies the simple principles of Scrum and facilitates all the meetings and interactions Scrum calls for.

During the training you will learn:

    • why Scrum works the way it does - or why iterative, incremental approach works so well for software projects,
    • how to use Scrum's artifacts - Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Burndown Chart, etc.,
    • what Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives and Daily Scrum are all about,
    • how to plan and estimate work,
    • how to lead and coach a self-organizing, adaptive project team,
    • how to communicate with your bosses (or clients) and with the team.

Most importantly, though, you will have a chance to participate in practical exercises with other participants. You will build a backlog, prioritise it, and attempt to put the theory into practice.

At the successful completion of your training you will get certified as a CSM and you'll get membership in the Scrum Alliance (fee included in the course price).

Please note that the language of the course and materials is English. No translation will be provided

All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
