    Overview

    The Certified Scrum Master class runs over two-days to teach the fundamental principles and mechanics of Scrum. You will learn how to use Scrum tools and activities such as the product backlog, sprint backlog, daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning meeting, and burndown charts using real-world examples and interactive exercises. You will leave knowing how to apply Scrum to all sizes and complexities of projects.

    Following successful completion of the course, each participant will be designated Certified ScrumMaster. This certification includes a one-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, where additional ScrumMaster-only material and information are available.

    Gabrielle has been very successful at organizational change, specializing in enterprise level transformation leading large teams at CollabNet, IBM and currently for Yahoo!  She leads the Agile rollout at Yahoo! with over 100 teams using Agile methods worldwide.  She is a certified Scrum Trainer, Scrum Master and Practitioner, and holds an MA in Digital Media.

    All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
