    This course is delivered by Vernon Stinebaker, one of Asia's most experienced and recognized Agile experts.

    The course covers the core concepts of Scrum teams and teamwork and the Scrum framework including: roles, activities, and artifacts that are applied to realize product requirements and project delivery; the ScrumMaster role including responsibilities and behavioral characteristics; the Product Owner role, including key responsibilities; and the role of a self-organizing, cross-functional team as the primary organizational unit through which the product is developed and delivered.

    About the Trainer:

    Vernon Stinebaker, Certified Scrum Trainer and Director of Technology and Operations at Perficient (NASDAQ: PRFT) has over 25 years experience in the IT industry and over 13 years hands-on Agile project deliver experience. Vernon shares his passion for Agile and Scrum as a hobby, while spending most of his time coaching and supporting multiple teams in the delivery of projects for blue chip clients spanning a wide range of technologies industries. Vernon is a native (American) English speaker and also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.

    Note: This course will be immediately followed by an Intensive Agile Engineering Practices course.     All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
