In terms of formal education I hold a masters degree in social sciences from the University of Bochum/Germany and I have an education as communications programmer of the Siemens/Nixdorf Training center.
I started my career as a software developer in 1993 in classic waterfall projects with an international software company in the financial sector. Before getting in touch with agile methods in 2009 I employed project management skills in various IT, organizational and optimization projects. In 2005 I became a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the PMI Institute. I moved to Six Sigma projects and became a certified Six Sigma Black belt in 2007. Since 2009 I have been promoting the agile transition of Deutsche Telekom AG, first as a team member of the transition team and since November 2011 as Product Owner for the Agile Coaching Team of Deutsche Telekom AG. I'm giving 1 day training classes teaching Scrum to new teams and coach managment staff members in the fields of change management, agile mindset and agile leadership. As a product owner I was instrumental in shaping the our coaching- and training portfolios. At various points I have given presentations and speeches about the agile transition of Deutsche Telekom and I'm proud to be part of the massive cultural change that is still going on. .
