Ulrike Umkehrer-Neudeck has started her career in 1986 as apprentice in the banking industry before she studied economics and became a process and project consultant at Bayerische Hypotheken und Wechsel-Bank (Hypo Bank) in1994. She moved to IT in 1997 when she project managed several migration projects in the Hypo Bank + Bayerische Vereinsbank merger. With the Real Estate business spin off from HypoVereinsbank in 2003 she moved with it and became department Head for Application and later Application and Infrastructure of Hypo Real Estate (HRE) International in Dublin. In 2006 she was appointed as managing director of HRE's Group IT. In 2008 she moved to a small, but highly professional consultancy where she advises customers, mainly IT managers in the finance industry, on Business IT Alignment, IT and service-strategy, project portfolio management, SCRUM, IT-sourcing, demand management, service level management, innovation management, service lifecycle mangement, project management, IT-risk management, provider management, planning, budgeting, evaluation and steering of investments, IT cost and benefit transparency and on how to improve agility in the IT.
