Leanware Ltd, Development Manager
February 2012 - Present, Tampere, Finland
Scrum master of the largest and hardest project in our company history, scrum coach to other projects, product owner coach, project manager coach, sw development process developer and trainer. I have studied Scrum and other agile software development methodologies and trained our staff to implement the "best of them", according the situation and project.
I have also worked as a IT-consultant to our customers to train them in agile thinking in their production. There is so much more in Scrum and agile way of thinking than only software development!
Leanware Ltd, Business Unit Manager
January 2007 - January 2012, Tampere, Finland
Manager of business unit, that was responsible of the customer SW development and product development in different areas like CRM, MES and DW-systems. Product management, sales management and hands-on projects were my duty as well as Scrum team coaching and Scum Product Owner tasks of different software products we were developing. I also got my CSPO certification at this time.
I had 15 SW professionals developing, implementing, supporting and training our software to help our customers to do their business more efficiently. In addition to their business needs it was my job to develop the way our developers and project managers did their job.
I started to implement official Scrum methodologies in many projects and also trained them to our customers to help us to co-operate in our long term SW development.
Leanware Ltd, Software Specialist
March 2000 - December 2006, Tampere, Finland
My job was to do agile software development from customer first contact, defining needs, developing and implementing the software, to training it to customers, maintaining and release planning in the changing world wiht the changing needs. At the sime time our company grew from 3-person startup to more than 20 person "real company". It was great to be a part of this success!
We wasn't aware of the term "Scrum" yet, but one base element of our continous success was the truth, that we were developing our software agile way, based on continous communication, short feedback loops and lot's of time spent with our customers to find out what they really needed.
