Biography

 

Scott Wickstrom -

Married since 2001 with 2 children living in Arvada, CO

Under graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa- 1993

MBA with emphasis in Technology Management, Finance and Marketing from the University of Colorado - 1996

Practitioner Certification in Project Management from the University of Colorado at Denver - 2006

Kaizen/Lean Lead Certification from BMGI - 2009

Certified SCRUM Master from the SCRUM Alliance - 2012

Although work is a fairly consuming part of my life I do my best to spend quality time with my family.  We enjoy the outdoors and spend our summers camping, fishing and riding ATVs.  I grew up in Colorado, attending K-12 in Cortez which is in the Southwest corner of the State.  After graduating from high school I attended the University of Tulsa and work in Tulsa for a year after graduating.   I then made the move to Boulder where I attended Graduate School at CU.  After graduation I took a job in the Oil and gas sector and moved to Louisiana where I spent 3 years working as an Executive Sales Engineer performing sales and consulting services to companies drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. 

I returned to Colorado in 1999 and started my career in the Telecommunication industry.  I've worked in several areas of the business including Field Operations, Network Operations, Quality Assurance and IT.  After leaving Colorado for a number of years before coming back in 99' I now know that this is home and it would take something special to get my family to move out of State again.
