Biography

Hello, my name is Scott Quinn and I am an IT professional with over 15 years of experience focused on providing product management in support of global products. I am currently performing this role at Deloitte in the Global Consulting Practice. I received my MBA from the University of Illinois and I am a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

I am experienced in working with global teams, vendor management and relationships, virtual teams, and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) application support and delivery.

I also spent 8 years serving in the United States Navy as a nuclear power plant operator specializing in the generation and distribution of electrical power. I worked for 4 years at Newport News Shipbuilding building the last of the SSN fast-attack submarines - the USS Cheyenne (SSN-773). Here I learned the non-tangilble skills of trust, honesty and attention-to-detail that I have used every day of my career.

When I am not working, I enjoy traveling to places I have never been, eating great local foods and experiencing the cultures that these places have. I have traveled extensively to Europe,South America, Mexico and throughout the United States. I look forward to my next journeys to the Pacific Rim of Asia and Australia.
